What is the price of a mini-helicopter?
These high tech machines range from 15.000 to 150.000 euros. All depends on the version and the amount of technical fittings (electronics, audio-visual systems etc.).

Can anybody fly an RC helicopter?
No. Well, maybe. Anybody can learn and
lessons are available. All helicopters can be outfitted with computer aided flight control systems, which makes operation a lot easier. We recommend some lessons anyhow, to ensure that your investment does not meet an untimely end. Helicopter crashes can mean a total loss.

What is the life expectancy of a Verhagen X2 helicopter?
Every helicopter needs a check-up after 50 hours of flight, when parts are changed if necessary. If this rule is respected, the helicopter can be used at least 2000 hours.

Do I need special fuel?
Verhagen X2 helicopters fly on two stroke engine fuel. The same as you might use for a normal chain saw.

Is it dangerous?
Yes, it is. A helicopter blade can break a person's neck. We do our best to make the safest helicopters imaginable. Nevertheless, they are powerful machines and we strongly advise against flying above or close to people.

Do I get a warranty?
All parts of the helicopter are under warranty. If they malfunction as a result of construction faults, they are replaced for free. However, flying a helicopter requires skilful handling and expertise.. When in inexperienced hands, a malfunction is easily provoked. Therefore, no warranty can be given on the entire machine.

Why are there no turbine powered helicopters?
Verhagen does build turbine engine helicopters on request. However, we do not advertise with these helicopters, because of their complexity and relatively low added value in comparison with our fuel and electrical helicopters.

Do you have technical documentation online?
Yes, we do.
